I am Nikoleta Kiapidou, a visual artist based in Madrid, Spain.

Born in Thessaloniki, Greece, in 1988, I moved to the UK in 2012 and then to Spain in 2017. I moved permanently to Madrid in 2021.

I use various types of media on canvas and paper, from oils and oil pastels to coloured pencils and collage. I also do murals.

My process is organic, building upon layers and textures. I like to walk the line between the familiar and the abstract.
